    1. Thank you. Clean up is phase where we are at now. We will be posting here ways to sign up a team to do that. Has someone from your org been attending the meetings we have been having in the evening? The next one will be Monday at St. Mary’s Church. I cannot remember time but if you would like to go, I will send you information.

      1. Hello. I am the director of pastoral services for St Columbkille Catholic Church in Papillion. We are a large parish, and we have a number of parishioners who are interested in assisting flood victims. Details on your organizational meeting tonight at St Mary’s Church would be very helpful as we seek a way to match volunteers with needs. Thank you.

  1. I am far away. I have seen the destroyed trailer parks. Is there a team that is collecting money to help replace these home? Is there a contract in charge of the Sarpy County communities that have been hardest hit?

  2. I have a business that is located on E. 35th Ave along with many others and we would like to get information whenever you get it.
We have many employees that need to get back to work and clean up that needs to get done.
The information is good about houses and we appreciate it but please let us know about getting access to our businesses also.
Thanks for what you are doing.

      1. I’ll help with clean up, probably the job most will shy away from. I can get any ppe needed from my contractor. If my kids come along, I’d like to drop them off at an area where they could be useful such as a distribution site. Let me know by Friday and I can grab masks or anything ppe related for the weekend.

    1. We do not have clarity on the national
Ones yet—as to how or where they will distribute funds. We do hope to have details on that this week. You can apply for the Nebraska Realtors fund to get up to $1000 in relocation fees. That link is under “financial assistance”

    2. Sally—we recommend that everyone applies for the Nebraska Realtors assistance under “financial assistance” on this site. In addition, the Salvation Army is in the process of establishing a center where people can go as a one-stop shop to apply for financial assistance. Hoping to have something out about that tomorrow. In addition, there is a furniture and appliance distribution center that will hopefully be up and running next week. Be sure to check here and Sarpyflood page on Facebook
