Individual and Group Volunteering

For current information regarding individual or group volunteering, please dial 2-1-1 and press 6 to learn about flood relief volunteer opportunities. If calling from outside Nebraska, please call 402-444-6666 before pressing 6. An operator will be available to assist you weekdays from 7 am to 8 pm and Saturdays 8 am to 5 pm. Organizations Requesting Volunteers

For organizations looking for volunteers or those interested in hosting volunteer opportunities, please contact the 2-1-1 AmeriCorps Volunteer Coordination Team at 402-235-8262 weekdays from 7 am to 8 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm or by email at nebraskafloodresponse2019@gmail.com.

Volunteer to help with distribution at the Disaster Recovery Center.  This is a Bellevue Christian Center sign up form, but the volunteer work will be done at the Disaster Recovery Center (1001 Fort Crook Road N, Bellevue, NE).  The Salvation Army Distribution Center at 84th and Center will close on Friday.

Help Paddingon Stations Kennels

We have finally been allowed to enter the property after the flooding. There is some work to be done but we are hopeful that the renovations will go smoothly and we will be open as soon as possible!

In the meantime, any help is appreciated. We will be there all next week doing demo and cleaning. If anyone is interested in helping please email us at NebraskaBoarding@gmail.com

Kitchen Help: The Salvation Army will be producing 1500+ meals a day for area shelters, disaster workers, mobile feeding.  Mass feeding – two hot meals a day and lunch.  Emergency Canteens will route to impacted neighborhoods for food, snacks and hydration.

Ongoing and Immediate Needs: Those who wish to volunteer their time to help prepare Salvation Army meals at the Kroc Center and to help distribute breakfast, lunch and dinner to shelters in the Bellevue area can email the Salvation Army or call 402-905-3552.
